Welcome to Bothy Teahouse, a delightful hidden gem nestled on an unnamed road in Leeds, UK. This charming café is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a stroll around the picturesque Harewood estate, featuring captivating views of the nearby Harewood Lake.

Bothy Teahouse is not just your ordinary café; it's a cozy haven that offers a selection of delicious drinks and treats that cater to both your thirst and sweet tooth. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing Yorkshire tea or a Sparkling Frizanté, there’s something for everyone here. Coffee enthusiasts will appreciate the Har Filter Coffee, which provides a comforting cup to brighten your day.

When it comes to food, you'll find a delightful assortment of tasty snacks like pre-packed cakes, flapjacks, and Cadbury Flakes. If you're looking for something heartier, don't miss the pulled pork cheese toastie or the unique Yorkshire hotdog. Complement your treat with a small ice cream or one of the café’s special luxury hot chocolates for a truly indulgent experience.

One of the standout features of Bothy Teahouse is the vibrant atmosphere created by both the attentive staff and the stunning surroundings. Local patrons have described the service as friendly and attentive, as highlighted by Ian Colbert, who praised the “polite and chatty” service while enjoying a lovely coffee and cake next to the serene lake. Chris Edwards noted how the café is an excellent destination for families, given the spacious areas for kids to run around and explore!

While you indulge in your chosen delights, you might want to heed M T’s advice about picnic spots – the swans near the lake could become a bit too curious during mealtime. Instead, consider moving into the beautiful walled garden nearby, offering a perfect alternative for leisurely enjoyment.

Bothy Teahouse isn't just a pit stop; it's an experience. Whether you're pausing for a quick refreshment or savoring a leisurely afternoon tea, you’re sure to create lasting memories here. Stop by, soak in the beauty of Harewood, and leave with your heart and stomach fully satisfied.

The young man who served us was polite and chatty. The coffee was nice and so was the cake. You are sat next to the Harewood lake so it is a great spot to enjoy the views. If you goto Harewood this is a good spot to pause.

Little cafe at the end of a short walk around Harewood. Lots of space for kids to run around.

Got some drinks from here, tea nice, coffee basically just milk and cold drinks over £2. We brought a picnic to eat down here but it was an absolute nightmare near the lake as the swans just kept at us constantly. I’d suggest not eating near the lake and going into the walled garden instead.

The horse box is not there at the moment but it is great. I love to walk to the walled garden where it is usually located . I can buy doggy ice cream for the pooch ! How has he managed without that all these years ?

A brilliant little cafe set at the end of a lovely walk from Harewood House. Options are very good and at a reasonable price. There is indoor and outdoor seating spaced out by the lake. Staff members are ever so kind. I recommend the Blueberry Muffin and white chocolate blondie, as they were very soft and tasty. 10/10 would happily eat again.
